The First CryptoNote I believe was ByteCoin which has since disappeared, but many Forks and Clones exist like Monero which has been Successful.

Before you start a CryptoNote Blockchain, you might want to start with setting up a Mining Pool, Creating a Facebook Group and everything for your Mining Pool, and start Mining Other CryptoNotes First, then Create yours when you already have a Functioning Mining Pool, here are the Mining Pool Links:

Once you are Ready to Create a CryptoNote the ForkNote Setup is really the easiest to Follow, and you should have a CryptoNite Coin up and Running in between 15 Minutes and 48 Hours depending on you. Make sure you have the Right Linux installed, you can Dual Boot Linux. I had Written a whole Guide about Linux, and Storage and all kinds of Things that are Great for this but it was on the ByteCoin Forum and that no longer exists so I can’t link you to it here for you to Read it. When I make my Next ForkNote Copy I’ll get more into this for everyone.

CryptoNotes are the Favorite of the average Miner because you have to use CPUs, which means you have to use Laptops to Mine instead of GPUs and ASICs. So with say Monero, you will see someone with 50 Laptops running at their House to Mine Monero. There is a Mining Software someone made called “Claymore” and it can allow GPUs to Mine CryptoNite Coins. But Largely these are the Coins a Regular Person can Mine, and you can Help them by having them Join your Mining Pool to make it all easier for them. CryptoNite Blockchains are also Private, no one can see when one Wallet sends Coins to another Wallet, it is not the Transparent Ledger Bitcoin is. But it is a Real Blockchain.
