I'm not sure if it was last Time, but when the DNC Happened in 1968 it was a Very Famous Event. There was a kind of Sleepover in Lincoln Park, and they intended to Create an "Alternative Society". If we can have a Serious Discussion, they were in a World where Conservatism had Created Nazis and Socialism and Communism were kind of New and Different even Though a Nazi is a "National Socialist" usually being "Christian White" also, so "Nazi" is "Christian White National Socialist". But the 60s had a lot of Socialism and Communism, Kwanza is Socialist, the Black Panthers were Socialist, these were People who Grew up in America that were Very Serious about Socialism. Bernie Sanders seems to say he Remembers, and that is kind of his Claim to Fame, like "Bernie was there" and Everyone who knows nothing about anyone in History, Ads  Bernie to Everything, and there Really was Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin and Everyone.

This is Jerry Rubin on Donahue. Later he Started wearing Suits and was kind of like a Different kind of Activist all together, not really much of a Yippie anymore.

And so they had the Yippie Manifesto, and that is, Real, Reasonable Demands, "No more Pay Toilets" kind of Things, Things that maybe Only Help the Poorest of People. There was the Da Da Art Movement involved, the "Up Against the Wall Motherfuckers" and the Yippies Famously took over the Pentagon and Spray Painted some of the Walls and this is where the Flowers were Put in the Barrels of Guns when the Military Police were Standing in front of the Pentagon. The Goal of the Protesters was to Surround it and do a Seance to make it Levitate. And this also is what Helped make the Democratic Party more of what it is Today, once the People Surrounded it and made these Demands this way.
